On the game's fourth anniversary
- by Alana Hagues
Nintendo and Cygames' mobile RPG Dragalia Lost officially closes its doors on 30th November, and with the main story now over and services gradually being reduced, the Big N has shared a message thanking players for their support of the popular mobile game.
On the game's fourth anniversary — today — Nintendo also posted the game's full end credits for players to enjoy and reminisce long into the future after Dragalia Lost closes down. The official Dragalia Lost Twitter also had some rather lovely new art to show off.
Here's the message Nintendo shared over on YouTube:
"Thank you for playing Dragalia Lost. We have uploaded the ending credits that play after completing the main campaign so that players can watch them at their leisure. Please enjoy the video and music!"

Hearing these two songs (which you can listen to below) definitely gets us a bit misty-eyed! But if you're still playing the game now, there's not too much to get upset about — if you log in today, you can earn a number of extra items such as Wyrmite, Rainbow Orbs, and Omnicite.
You also have until 31st October to buy Upgrade Essentials & Packs, after which they'll be unavailable.
Let us know what you think of the end credits, as well as your feelings on the end of the game's service, below!

About Alana Hagues
Alana has been with Nintendo Life since 2022, and while RPGs are her first love, Nintendo is a close second. She enjoys nothing more than overthinking battle strategies, characters, and stories. She also wishes she was a Sega air pirate.

Dragalia: Lost.
I hope it has fun up in Nintendo heaven with Super Mario Bros. 35 and shortly, the entire 3DS eShop.

I wonder what Nintendo will do next with this IP?
An entirely new game on consoles, I hope.

There's still time to port this game to Switch as an offline version.
Heck, you can re-release this game on mobile as a premium game that is offline only.

Star Fox, F-Zero, and Kid Icarus are up there too...

Honestly as Nintendo's first new IP on phones, I was excited for this game. I even had fun with it for a little while. I just don't like playing phone games, and never commit to them long. If they ever put something out on consoles, I'll definitely check it out.

Dragalia Lost was a gret game for a mobile game IMO.
it has a lot of potential

There are so many excellent examples of games that were released on mobile, failed and were reworked to release on console specifically switch.... There's no reason not to that with this game. Check out Little Noah: Scion of Paradise if you need a good example of a Mobile game being reworked for console release and making a great experience.

Such a fun game! I really liked the characters and little side stories. Hope they take this series onto another console somehow. Guess I'll download it again and give it another try before it ends

Why would anyone buy upgrade packs today for a service ending in a couple months? I’m still disappointed to see this end, but I’m being realistic about curbing expectations at this point.

Well it's over, hopefully Nintendo port it to Switch someday with a definitive edition or something otherwise those who play it just lost something big unlike Babylon's Fall.

Does anyone know who the lead artist was for this? The art in this game is just wonderful.

I haven't played in a couple years. I really should poke my head back into the game and see how it ends.

I didn't play this game much, but the little I did I really enjoyed the concept and story, if not the grindy timer based aspects that are norm for mobile f2p games.
Every time I played it, I would grow frustrated and simply wish Nintendo would make a proper single player RPG out of the IP.

Oh boy! I can't wait for this to happen in Pikmin Bloom! I only have like 5 more things to do in that game, but a rough estimate tells me that if I want to completely get all the stuff and "finish" it, I'll need to play constantly every day for another 20 months or so. Dragalia Lost seems like it might have been a better use of my time.

I'd actually welcome this. Offline only with no microtransactions. Game looks like it'd be fun with actual buttons and without the wallet bleeding mechanics.

I will miss to those great characters (Notte) and beautiful music...
I also join the idea that this game should return as a full, premium game for the Switch, it doesn't deserve to be 'lost' or forgotten...

I only had three mobile games on my phone, cause most are gacha passive "art collections." I like to be engaged, and encouraged to be engaged, when it comes to gaming.
Now I am left with Brawl Stars and Flash Party.
Here's hoping Nintendo does something new with the IP.

Nintendo better not leave this IP to the dust man. Never thought a mobile game of all things would ever be in my top 15 list. The lore and character growths were just sights to behold and devs even gifted us some premium currency in the end despite their consistent generosity since the game's start. And by God the music, straight up Xenoblade 1 levels for me personally.
I don't blame Cygames and Nintendo for shutting it down tho. Both companies have mobile games that require way less effort and generate more profit like FEH and that Cygames horse racing game. Still have me at day 1 if anything ever comes to fruition in the future.

@Wilforce Bruh, they took away IAP last month. There's nothing to buy today.

@Chaos_Knight The article says “ You also have until 31st October to buy Upgrade Essentials & Packs, after which they'll be unavailable.” Perhaps someone didn’t fact check before posting the article.

Even if they don't make a new console game with them, I hope they put these characters in another Nintendo game such ad Zelda or Fire Emblem to preserve them.

Makes me wonder if Nintendo and Cygames ever partner up again for a new IP (hopefully not mobile) after this, but that possibility doesn't feel likely sadly enough.
@Vil: According to a Google search the artist's name is Naoki Saito, who has also contributed to Pokemon, Dual Masters, Genshin Impact and Hatsune Miku among others.

I decided to make good on my previous post and booted up the game to finish the last 8 chapters. Took a while, and I had to upgrade a bunch of stuff to take on the last few bosses, but it was worth the journey and I'm glad I have closure. It was always the writing that drove me to this game. There's an optimism underneath it all that you don't see often. Felt good to close the book.

This was an excellent mobile game and it never felt like you were being ripped off. The biggest issue is that they never expanded on the exploration maps and gave you more things to do with the characters. It was basically an action combat version of Granblue Fantasy but I never understood why it wasn't ported to Switch.. I'm not holding out hope they make an offline version after Square just let Mobius die though.
